My name is Arthur and I’m a serious Carolina Panthers fan and I’m not afraid to admit it. Sure, we have had some down years but now are team is ready for a season, long-term run in the NFL.
I moved to the Charlotte area a few years ago and didn’t really have any preferred NFL teams. I decided to purchase season tickets for myself and the family. Boy, I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. Now we are all die hard fans and love our team to death.
Everyone at the tailgates that inaugural year called us first-timers, since we had never had season tickets before. The name stuck, and I’m still known as first-timer to all of my tailgating buddies. Of course, I’m still the “new” guy several years later so I get where they are coming from.
This blog is meant to be a tribute to the team, coaches, and players. I like to stay up to date on all of the breaking news with free agent signings, potential draft picks, injury reports, and opponent previews.I’ll do my best to relay that information to you with this site.
I personally feel like our team gets a bad rap with the national media. Sure, our quarterback Cam Newton might not be the most conventional. He’s not a Tom Brady or a Peyton Manning. He’s a Cam Newton and you have to respect him enjoying the game as much as he does while still playing hard. Nobody treats the fans with more respect than he does.
But he’s not the only one. Our team is made up of stand up guys who go to charity events, sign autographs for the kids, and really contribute to the community.
Just remember. My grammar might not be perfect. I might make a few spelling mistakes. I don’t have inside access to what’s going on in the locker room.
I’m not a journalist or a professional writer. I just love the Panthers and everything about them. Each post will contain unfiltered takes on the hottest topics. No filter or fluff here, just real, raw writing.
